PORTRAIT: a pictorial representation of a person usually showing the face

A successful portrait goes far beyond merely capturing a faithful likeness, and shows the
very essence of the subject’s personality. The likeness, sensibility of colours, lightening,
mood and overall composition must be in perfect harmony for me to consider a portrait
successful. In every portrait I try to create a work of art that exhibits both beauty and
creativity.
